Our Abbess

Tracy first felt Brighid’s presence more than seventeen years ago — a quiet whisper through the flame of creation, the breath of inspiration moving through her hands. Whenever she sat to create, she called upon Brighid for guidance, blessing her art, her words, and her spirit. What began as a simple invocation slowly grew into a living devotion, a steady thread of light woven through daily life. Over time, Tracy recognized that this relationship was not only personal, but a calling — an invitation to serve the Flame more deeply.

That call led her, in 2019, to Ord Brighideach. Reaching out to Abbess Rose with a wish to join, Tracy learned that the Order stood at a threshold of renewal. She offered her skills in service, and together they rebuilt a home for the Flame online — a modern vessel for an ancient devotion. In February 2022, Abbess Rose passed the sacred mantle to Tracy. Since that time, Tracy has served as Abbess of Ord Brighideach, tending its rhythms, nurturing its members, and carrying forward the spirit of devotion, care, and creativity that has always shaped the Order.

Tracy walks the intertwined paths of Shamanism and Priestessing, the twin roots of her spiritual life. Her practice has been enriched through years of study in Reiki, ThetaHealing, Druidry, Yoga, Meditation, and Breathwork. Through daily devotion, she has come to understand the quiet alchemy of spiritual practice — how tending the inner flame transforms the heart, the home, and the wider world. Through her work with Mystic Spirit Wisdom, she shares shamanic teachings, goddess wisdom, and earth-based practices, guiding others to remember their connection to body, heart, and spirit.

Alongside her spiritual work, Tracy is a Pilates instructor, teaching from her peaceful home studio nestled among the trees of rural Pennsylvania. She is a lifelong artist who finds meaning in the act of creation itself — whether through fiber, color, or form. Her hands are rarely still; knitting, crocheting, needle-felting, and weaving are everyday practices that honor Brighid’s gifts of craft, beauty, and inspiration.

Tracy shares her life with her husband, a devoted and compassionate doctor whose quiet strength and steadfast kindness are a continual source of support. Together they have built a life rooted in healing, service, and love.

She is the mother of two sons — one who walks beside her in spirit, and one who walks this earth carrying her heart within his own. Her first son, Joshua, born into the heavens, remains a guiding presence in her life. Her second son, Zane, is a devoted husband and father whose integrity and kindness fill her with pride. Through him and his wife, Tracy has been blessed with two beloved granddaughters, Mileena and Nellie, with another little soul soon to join the family. Becoming Oma has deepened her sense of continuity and legacy — a living thread of love carried forward through generations.

At home, Tracy and her husband share their hearth with two miniature dachshunds, Davina and Oren, whose playful presence brings daily joy and laughter. When not teaching, creating, or spending time with her grandchildren, Tracy can often be found beneath the trees, tending her garden, swimming in still waters, reading beside the fire, or simply listening — to wind, earth, and the quiet pulse of life.

As Abbess of Ord Brighideach, Tracy is honored to serve those who walk the path of Brighid. She holds each flame keeper in her heart and strives to foster a living circle of warmth, devotion, and care — many hearts, many flames, united in the enduring light of Brighid’s blessing.
