Our Abbess
Tracy was drawn to Brighid over 15 years ago. She started calling upon Brighid whenever she was working on her art, to help guide and inspire her. This created an intimate bond between her and Brighid and she found herself wanting to find ways to honor Brighid for all of her help. In 2019 Tracy discovered Ord Brighideach's website and contacted Abbess Rose, asking to join. At the time the Order was still in need of a new website. Hearing this she offered to help build the new site. In June of 2019, the new website was launched. In February of 2022, Abbess Rose passed the mantle on once again, to Tracy. Since this time she has redesigned the website adding several new features. She enjoys getting to know the members of our Facebook group and hopes to build a strong community as the years go by.
Tracy has a deep spiritual background with training in Reiki, Thetahealing, Druidry, Shamanism, Priestessing, Yoga, Meditation, and Breath work. She knows the importance of daily practice, as she has watched the changes in herself since developing a meaningful daily devotion. She is a Pilates and Yoga instructor, having her own small studio on her property in the rural area of Pittsburgh, PA. She is also a doll artist. Creating is one of her favorite things to do, if she's not working on a doll she is knitting, crocheting, needle felting, or weaving. She is married to an amazing doctor and is the mother of two boys. Her first son was born to the Heaven many years ago and is one of Tracy's special spirit guides. Her second son is grown, married and just became a father. Being a mother has been the most precious gift this life has given her and she is eternally grateful for her boys. And now being an Oma to her beautiful granddaughter Mileena is an adventure she has been looking forward to for years. She and her husband share their home with an adorable mini dachshund named Davina.
In her free time if she is not creating something she is either playing with her pup or spending time outside among the trees. She loves to garden, swim, sit by the fire reading and also just sitting and watching the wildlife around her. Tracy is very much a homebody, her home is definitely her happy place.
