ORD BRIGHIDEACH

Our Abbess

Tracy first felt Brighid’s presence more than seventeen years ago — a soft whisper through the flame of creation, the breath of inspiration moving through her hands. Whenever she sat to create, she called upon Brighid to guide her — to bless her art, her words, her spirit. What began as a simple invocation soon became a living devotion, a thread of light weaving through her daily life. The bond between woman and goddess grew strong, forged in gratitude and wonder, and Tracy’s heart knew she was being called to serve the Flame more deeply.

That call led her, in 2019, to the hearth of
Ord Brighideach, where she reached out to Abbess Rose with the wish to join. Learning that the Order stood at the edge of renewal, Tracy offered her help — and together they built a new home for the Flame online. The website was reborn in June of that year, a modern temple for an ancient devotion. In February 2022, Abbess Rose passed the sacred mantle to Tracy. Since that time, she has lovingly guided Ord Brighideach — tending its rhythm, nurturing its members, and carrying forward the spirit of devotion, service, and creativity that has always been at its heart.

Tracy walks the path of
Shamanism and Priestessing, the twin roots of her spiritual calling. These have been enriched by studies in Reiki, ThetaHealing, Druidry, Yoga, Meditation, and Breathwork. Through many years of daily devotion, she has learned the quiet alchemy of spiritual practice — how tending the inner flame transforms the heart, the home, and the world around us. Through her work with Mystic Spirit Wisdom, she shares her shamanic teachings, goddess wisdom, and earth-based practices — guiding others to remember their sacred connection to body, heart, and spirit.

She is a Pilates instructor, teaching from her peaceful home studio nestled among the trees in rural Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. A lifelong artist, Tracy finds joy in the act of creation itself — whether through color, fiber, or form. Her hands are rarely still; she is often knitting, crocheting, needle-felting, or weaving — simple, sacred acts that honor Brighid’s gifts of craft, beauty, and inspiration.

Tracy is married to an extraordinary and deeply devoted doctor, whose steadfast kindness and quiet strength are a continual source of support and inspiration. Together they share a life rooted in healing, love, and service.

She is the mother of two beloved sons — one who walks beside her in spirit, and one who walks this earth carrying her heart within his own. Her first son Joshua, born into the heavens, remains a guiding light and presence in her life. Her second son Zane, is grown and married, a devoted husband and father whose kindness and integrity fill her with pride. He and his wife have blessed Tracy with two radiant granddaughters,
Mileena and Nellie, and another little soul soon to join the family. Becoming Oma has deepened her joy and sense of legacy — a living thread of love that continues to shine through the generations.

At home, she and her husband share their hearth with two lively miniature dachshunds,
Davina and Oren, whose playful spirits bring laughter and warmth to every day. When not teaching, creating, or playing with her grandchildren, Tracy can be found beneath the trees, tending her garden, swimming in still waters, reading beside the fire, or simply listening — to the wind, to the earth, to the pulse of life all around her. A keeper of hearth and flame, she finds her greatest peace within her sacred home.

As Abbess of Ord Brighideach, Tracy is honored to serve those who walk the path of Brighid. She holds each flamekeeper in her heart and strives to foster a living circle of warmth, creativity, and devotion — one flame, many hearts, united in the eternal light of Brighid’s blessing.
